Many people (myself included) have a great appreciation for the old artwork and stylings of Neopets. Some of the most iconic were the "circle poses," a way of viewing your pets, and the "photos" from the default pet pages. Here are two examples, though some variants can be found on the "photo of me" on the petpages. See this site for some of the variety!
I enjoy drawing my own designs in a retro Neopets style, and thought it would be great to have that extra bit of immersion that comes with these framing pieces. However, it was really hard to find a "base" for these in the high resolution that art programs can work in these days. The website has "wearable" versions of both of these as backgrounds, but they're still too small and not exactly what I wanted in terms of art resources.
I soon realized the easiest way to find these "bases..." was making them myself! And I'm using my website to share them for others to use. Feel free to spread this page around, download the images, and use them yourself! Credit is appreciated but not necessary, as the original design belongs to Neopets and I just made them a higher resolution. If you want your finished product to look more faithful to the old site, try saving them as .gif files for that "crunchy" look.

Here's a link to an example of my art using the circle background! I'll put any more examples here as I finish them.
Enjoy showing off your "pets!"
